WiLDNiS AR - Explore the Forest Ecosystem with Augmented Reality
WiLDNiS AR is an educational and interactive app that allows users to explore the importance of the forest ecosystem in a fun and playful way. Through the use of Augmented Reality (AR), users can experience the plants and animals that inhabit the forest beyond their human senses. The app offers high-quality augmentations, 3D animations, X-ray vision function, film elements, and audio files. Scientifically based and didactically prepared, it is primarily aimed at students aged 7 to 12, but also provides an ultimate nature experience for families.
The app features a team of producers, including Lisa Eder and Björn Jensen, who have brought together a group of talented individuals to create an immersive AR experience. Hosted by Momoka Bartel and Anna Bauer Lopez, WiLDNiS AR also includes music by Sebastian Fillenberg and sound design by Tomas Bastian. The team at punchin.pictures, led by Managing Partner Philipp Bartel, has contributed to the creative direction and design of the app, while Andreas Magreiter serves as the Technical Director for AR. The Unity art team, consisting of Romano Ivanovic, Stefan Auer, and Immanuel Bauer, has created stunning visuals, and the UI prototyping was done by Oliver Mattern. Motion graphics and 3D artists Gregoire Barfety and Florencia Oszwald, along with 3D character animator Christian Bumba, have added depth and realism to the app. Peter Schröder and Branislav Klukovic handle the camera and sound for the host segments, respectively, and Florencia Oszwald takes care of the editing.
Parents can rest assured that WiLDNiS AR does not contain any hidden costs or optional in-app purchases. However, it is important for parents to supervise their children while using this augmented reality app and to be aware of any physical dangers in the real world.
